Nufree Hair Removal
Nufree Hair Removal FAQ
If Nufree Nudesse isn't a wax, what is it?
Nufree Nudesse is a natural, self-preserving antibacterial/antimicrobial, anhydrous botanical formula. It contains no wax, no sugar and no honey.
How should I prepare for a wax?
Exfoliate a day before your wax (don’t do it day of!) in order to remove any dead skin and help reduce discomfort. You should also avoid intense sun exposure, like tanning beds, 48 hours before and after your wax.
Will it hurt?
There will be some discomfort at times, but most people end up saying that it wasn’t nearly as bad as they thought. Nufree Nudesse never dries and doesn't stick to the skin, so it doesn't pull on skin or cause painful irritation.
How long do the results last/How often should I wax?
Results can be seen immediately. After your first two treatments, regrowth is lighter and softer. Waxing is recommended every 4-6 weeks, or depending on how hairless you prefer to be, every 3-8 weeks. It’s better to wax at regular intervals because it’s less painful.. It is important not to abandon waxing after your first appointment, and try your best not to shave. It usually takes 2-3 appointments to get into a rhythm and really experience the true benefits of waxing.
This is my first wax, what’s the most important thing to know?
Being nervous is normal and you’re not alone. I strive to make you feel as comfortable as possible- so please feel free to let me know if you have any questions or concerns and I will happily talk you through everything.
How long does the hair have to be?
We recommend that you have at least a ¼” of hair for a wax (or about 3 weeks from your last shave/wax).
Do I need to do anything after a wax?
Avoid intense sun exposure (like tanning beds) for two days, and remember to hydrate your skin- unscented lotion or virgin coconut oil is a great option to soften, and reduce inflammation of your skin. If you’re looking for something more “official” ask about Finipil before you leave your appointment, an antiseptic cream that soothes your skin while protecting the empty hair follicle.
What do you mean when you say backside or “hard to reach areas”…?
The “backside” is what we refer to when we wax your butt crack. And having it waxed is much easier than trying to reach to shave it!
I started my period, should I reschedule?
Nope! Just wear a tampon and don’t worry about it. Though, if you feel uncomfortable we totally understand, and you can reschedule your appointment.
